Dentures, crowns and bridges in Palamós
Chew and smile comfortably again.
We design custom fixed and removable prostheses to replace missing teeth or protect teeth that are badly weakened.
What types of prosthesis are there?
Fixed prostheses, such as crowns and bridges, are cemented onto teeth or implants and are not removed. They are the closest to natural teeth.
Removable prostheses (dentures) can be taken out to clean. They can replace some or all of the teeth and can often be secured on implants so they do not move.
When is a prosthesis recommended?
We will suggest the most suitable option after examining your mouth:
- You are missing one or more teeth and find chewing difficult.
- You have a heavily restored or root-treated tooth that needs a crown to protect it.
- Your current denture moves, causes sore spots or is worn out.
- You want to replace a full denture with a more stable solution.

How long does it take to make a prosthesis?
It depends on the type. A crown can be ready in a few weeks; a full or implant-supported denture needs more visits. We will give you a timeline.
Is it hard to get used to?
For the first few days it is normal for it to feel strange. With the necessary adjustments, most patients adapt quickly.
How do I clean a prosthesis?
Fixed ones are cleaned like teeth, with a brush and floss or interdental brushes. Removable ones should be taken out and cleaned every day. We give you full instructions.
Can my loose denture be secured?
In many cases yes, with implants that hold it in place. We assess this at the first visit.
